The Official Business Link to the US Government

One of the greatest challenges businesses face in dealing with the federal government is the large number of different agencies they must work with, each with its own set of regulations. Each agency organizes compliance information on its Website differently, which could make finding this information more difficult. Business.gov is intended to address this problem, providing one Internet source for businesses seeking information on how to comply with government regulations. For the first time, businesses can go to one Website to get this information.

NBA First Step>FirstStep Review

First Step is a screening tool to help smaller businesses (with less than 100 employees and annual sales of less than $5 million) determine the likelihood of success in gaining an SBA LowDoc guaranteed loan. The LowDoc program began as a pilot in 1993 to help lenders participate in the SBA program with smaller businesses. If you gain a score of 70 or more on First Step, then the next step would be to find a lender who is SBA certified for LowDoc loans.
